Apex Specialist Roofing (WA)

1. General Terms

By engaging our services, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined below. These terms govern all work performed by Apex Specialist Roofing (WA) and set clear expectations between us and our clients.

2. Pricing & Payments

• All pricing is quoted on a per-job basis; we do not provide itemised breakdowns for labour and materials.
• Quotes are valid for 6 months from the issue date unless otherwise stated.
• Any pricing queries or discussions must occur before accepting a quote. Once a job is completed, the full invoiced amount is payable.
• Payment is due within 14 days of job completion. Late payments may incur additional fees.

3. Job Approval, Deposits & Cancellations

• All jobs must be approved in writing before commencement.
• A 50% deposit is required for any job over $1,000, with the remaining balance due upon completion.
• If a job is part-completed, the client will be charged the full amount for the completed works plus 30% of the remaining quoted amount to cover costs incurred.
• If a job is approved in writing and later completed by another company, we will charge a 30% fee of the quoted amount to cover administration, scheduling, and lost time.
• Jobs that have already been completed are non-refundable, and full payment is required.

4. Leak Repair Guarantee

Leak guarantees only apply where clearly stated in writing. Repairs address the most likely cause of the leak, but further diagnosis may be required if the issue persists.

Our leak guarantee covers our repair work only and does not extend to any internal damage caused by the leak.

If the leak continues, we will reattend to rectify the issue. If we are unable to fix it, we will refund the repair cost.

This guarantee applies only to the repaired section of the roof, not to unrelated areas.

If a client chooses a lower-cost repair without a guarantee, and a major repair is later required, the initial repair cost will not be deducted from the final price.

5. Property Damage & Liability

• While we take utmost care in carrying out our work, unintentional damage due to wear and tear or old age (e.g., brittle tiles, weak structures) is not our responsibility.
• Any such damage must be rectified by the property owner at their expense.
• We are not liable for any pre-existing conditions or hidden defects that may worsen during the course of our work.

6. Payments, Overdue Invoices & Legal Costs

• Payment is due within 14 days of job completion.
• Overdue invoices will accrue interest at 7% per annum until fully paid.
• If legal action is required to recover unpaid invoices, all legal costs, including court fees, collection costs, and legal representation, will be reimbursed by the property owner or person who approved the job.

7. Service Limitations

• Our services do not include gutter cleaning 
• Roof inspections, audits, and leak detection services are conducted to identify probable issues, but no guarantees can be made beyond the agreed repair work.
• For insurance inspections, our reports provide documentation and recommendations, but we do not engage in disputes with insurers on behalf of clients.

8. Job Completion, Delays & Disputes

• Once a job is completed, the client assumes full responsibility for 100% of the outstanding amount.
• Any concerns regarding workmanship must be raised within 30 days of completion. After this period, all work is deemed satisfactory.
• Timeframes for job completion are estimated and subject to change due to factors beyond our control, including but not limited to weather conditions, material shortages, supplier delays, and scheduling conflicts. We cannot be held liable for any delays caused by these factors.

9. Emergencies & Urgent Repairs

• Emergency callouts are available at an additional cost and may vary based on location and urgency.
• Priority is given to severe leaks and urgent roofing concerns, but availability is subject to scheduling constraints.

10. Changes to Terms

• Apex Specialist Roofing (WA) reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Clients are encouraged to review our terms periodically.
